At BCCPAC, we believe every child deserves to feel safe, included, and valued at school. 

Racism continues to affect students in BC, and the Ministry of Education and Child Care has committed to addressing this through a province-wide plan. Understanding what steps the Ministry is taking is an important way parents can support anti-racism in schools.

This video was created to support parent and caregiver understanding of the BC K–12 Anti-Racism Action Plan. It features BC students as actors and a voiceover narrative that introduces how BC schools are working to create safe and inclusive environments.

The project is part of a broader effort to increase awareness and understanding of anti-racism work in BC’s public education system.
